“So Matilda’s strong young mind continued to grow, nurtured by the voices of all those authors who had sent their books out into the world like ships on the sea. These books gave Matilda a hopeful and comforting message: You are not alone.”

– Matilda (1996) Danny DeVito

I’ve been a bibliophile since I was a child, and have always felt a kinship with DeVito’s narration in his adaptation of Matilda. When I was young, I’d check out as many books as I could, and complete the Summer Reading Challenge in a week. That love of literature has never left me: when there isn’t a pen in my hand, or a dog in my lap, there’s a book.

Despite being an avid fantasy reader, I have a vast selection of books at my disposal, and always have my library accounts at the maximum limit for reservations and books out all at once.

You can find my book reviews by clicking on the respective covers.
