While I was working as a social media manager at Mookychick, I learned that I had a knack for professional copywriting. Although my content primarily focused on uplifting submission calls, encouraging positive mental health and safe care, and sharing an archive of published work that would have otherwise been hidden on the website for few to see, it taught me how to adopt various voices and house styles, and make them my own.

I did this in practice by breaking down the purpose, the register of pre-existing content, the target audience and the aesthetic of the brand or its competitors.

While I worked as a digital content writer at The Agile Works, I developed my skills in this area. I subsequently honed it through Hubspot Academy courses such as Digital Advertising and Content Marketing, which provided me with added perspective to employ these methods to content samples.
